Transforming the tactile qualities of hand-drawn animation into a distinctive artistic language, CHUANG explores the labor embedded in artistic production and the ways emotions accumulate across time and space. For this exhibition, he will present a site-specific animation installation at the former Rokko Sky Villa in the Wind Church Area, created in dialogue with the unique characteristics of the venue.
The production and management of this project are supported by Unfold Contemporary, the organization behind gallery Unfold. We invite you to experience a work in which narrative and surrounding environment resonate with one another, creating a space where imagination and reality intertwine. -

28-01-2026 gallery Unfold presents in Taipei!

In early 2026, gallery Unfold collaborate with three art spaces in Taipei to present four exhibitions developed through artist in residence, international exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. These initiatives and exhibitions not only reflect the core concerns of gallery Unfold, but also trace the intersections and connections between Asian contemporary art —with a focus on Taiwan—and broader global contexts. We warmly invite audiences to share these practices and accumulated experiences, and to look ahead together to the possibilities that art can generate.
All three venues are conveniently accessible via the Taipei MRT, and the exhibitions will be accompanied by an opening reception, as well as talks or artist-led guided tours. If you are in the area, we warmly invite you to join us.
