Summer is for holidays. Not necessarily holidays as traveling to faraway places or having absolutely no work commitments. It’s rather as time spent in departing from the too familiar understanding of the world and the too tired self who can’t taste life any longer.

And holidays, as we know, always need books. We read for enjoyment. We read for something new.

This August, with its typical hot weather, We want to invite to you to gallery Unfold and have a holiday at the exhibition of books, many of them indeed hot off the press. Two groups of books are on display: books as art and books on arts. Some play with the conventional book form and turn it into something unexpected. Some treat books as spaces which can then lead to other spaces, physical or imaginary. Some use books to catch the past, which turn out having its own way of living the now.

Each has its many stories. Come and we will tell.
