01-10-2025 Announcement of Participation in Kyoto Experiment 2025 Fringe “More Experiments”
The collaboration by Unfold Contemporary, monade contemporary|単子現代, and D ARTS—Kosuke Ikeda / Shota Matsui / Yao-Cheng Lee / Anthony Plasse | Mise-en-Scène dislocated—held this October across two venues, gallery Unfold and monade contemporary|単子現代, is participating in the Kyoto Experiment Fringe program “More Experiments.
This exhibition explores the conditions under which inorganic substances such as minerals can function as a mise-en-scène (stage setting) through the two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and installation works of Kosuke Ikeda, Shota Matsui, Yao-Cheng Lee, and Anthony Plasse.
By transcending the constraints of time and space—such as history and geography—the exhibition invites viewers to experience the displacement of the mise-en-scène illuminated by inorganic matter. -
